I think the US still holds the spirit of the poem, but the energy and excitement has died down a bit. Illegal immigrants are shipped back to their countries. What harm can they do? They already got here, so let them be. I also think that immigrants should be able to become citizens or run for president. If they stayed long enough then they should be ale too.
