Colossus
It's not something obvious or famous
But towers powerfully from land to land
Here surrounded by sea, our doors are opened
A mighty woman with a torch, whose fire
Is the permanent light, and she is
A mother for people unwanted, with her open arms
Welcoming people world wide. Her calm eyes lure them
Two seperate islands connected by unity
"Keep your culture and your traditions" the woman says
With her still lips "Give me your abused and poor"
Your deamened people wanting to be free
The all of those who are dirty and unwanted
Homeless and undesired are welcome
My light shines beside the door of opportunity
