Basically today, we started doing the project in the computer lab. We've each decided to split the questions so later, we all could just combine what we got an turn it into the group essay. In the lab, we already started with the research.
Nicole is finding out about the unique problems our immigrant encountered on their journey and upon arrival to the US, the diary entry during the travel and where the immigrants were processed.
Mi is finding out about the jobs our immigrants got when in the US and their wages.
Alexa is finding out where our immigrants settled once they got into America and about the present-day power status of people from our assigned country.
Jeremiah will find out what years the immigrants landed in the US and describing the typical daily life of our immigrant.
Joe will be finding out how many immigrants came to the US and the push and pull factors.
I will be describing the racism our immigrant were exposed to, if they could "pass" as an American-born and if their traditions scare Americans.
